Greater North Fulton Chamber Announces 2025 Nonprofit of the Year Honorees
ALPHARETTA, GA — The Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce (GNFCC) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 Nonprofit of the Year Awards, recognizing two outstanding organizations for their exceptional service and impact in the North Fulton community:
- Large Nonprofit of the Year: Chattahoochee Nature Center
- Small Nonprofit of the Year: Roswell United Methodist Church Job Networking Ministry
These honorees were announced today and will be formally recognized at the upcoming North Fulton Focus Series event on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Phase Events in Alpharetta from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
“These organizations exemplify the spirit of service and leadership that strengthens our region,” said Kali Boatright, President & CEO of the GNFCC. “From environmental education to compassionate outreach, both the Chattahoochee Nature Center and Roswell United Methodist Church have made a lasting difference in the lives of North Fulton residents.”
The Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC), celebrating nearly 50 years of service, is a regional leader in environmental education, wildlife rehabilitation, and nature-based wellness. With over 150,000 annual visitors and partnerships with more than 300 schools, CNC connects people of all ages to nature through immersive experiences, including wildlife encounters, river canoeing, and sustainable gardening. Their Unity Garden alone donates over 10,000 pounds of fresh produce annually to local food pantries. CNC’s innovative programs and deep community partnerships make it a cornerstone of environmental stewardship in North Fulton.
The Roswell United Methodist Church Job Networking Ministry, serving the community since 1988, has supported over 90,000 job seekers across the metro Atlanta area. Meeting twice monthly, the ministry offers a full day of career support including resume reviews, LinkedIn headshots, professional attire, workshops, and networking dinners. With over 150 volunteers and a strong network of employer partners, the program provides not only practical tools but also hope and encouragement to those navigating unemployment. In March 2025, the ministry was honored by the Georgia State Senate for its impact.
The GNFCC invites the community to join in celebrating these remarkable organizations at the June 25th event. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available at www.gnfcc.com.
